Our Parents Council is currently a relatively small group of interested parents that give a small amount of their time to try and make a difference in the school wherever they can. Our group is growing and we welcome any newcomers at any stage. We aim to make the PC as inclusive as possible and invite all parents to attend any meetings (with no pressure to join full time if they do not wish to). Look out for texts and notes for dates and times of upcoming meetings.
We usually meet every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on any upcoming events that we are involved in. Some of the activities that we do over the course of the year are: The very popular Christmas party/disco, Christmas cards and the beautiful Carol singing in front of the school. After that we have the waist expanding cake sale and then another fun day in-between. We end the year with ice lollies for all the children who need a cool treat on sports day and the very special farewell party for our 6th school. We try to raise much needed funds during the year with all our activities which benefit all our children and we also aim to raise school spirit and add a few extra smiles!
